Speed Demon ("Demon") was the best sprinter that ever came out of Akita Rose Stables. He had an amazing determination to come out on top and refused to eat any treats because he wanted to stay on the top of his game. Although his bloodlines weren't much it did nothing to stop the fiery chestnut.
He was bought at an Original Auction at Major Horse Shows and brought to run on the GHF track. It wasn't long before he started showing the crowd what a champion this colt was. He loved to win more than anything in the world and had a furious competition with HoFamer Flying Colours. It was usually always the two rivals on top in every sprint there was out there. With over 20 million dollars in earnings and a record of 46 16-11-6 it proves just how great this stallion actually is.

He won some awards on GHF during his racing career that we are very proud of. They are Y5 Best 2YO Colt, Y6 Encouragement Award, and Y7 Best Sprinter. He had been fighting for the Best Sprinter Award each year but it kept being stolen by his rival, Flying Colours. He finally received the honor in Y7.
He was a champion on the track and we think he'll be a champion in the breeding shed as well. He sired his first foal (Popcorn Blitz) in Y8 and are expecting many more to come and live on the legacy.
